Bishop Olmsted's Visit on 28 Jan 2005
As part of St. Mary-Basha'a 60th Anniversary, Bishop Olmsted celebrated Mass with the student body on Fri, 28 Jan 2005. He also blessed the new renovations and a Mother Seton statue.
The Sisters of Charity have been involved with St. Mary-Basha School since it opened in 1944. Bishop Olmsted expresses his gratitude to the principal of 20 years, Sr. Mary Norbert Long, S.C. and Sr. Miriam Richard, S.C., St. Mary-Basha's Counselor.

The staff and student body watch as Bishop Olmsted blesses the statue of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton outside the Long Library (formerly the convent).
   
A generous donation by the Alfred Shousha, M.D. estate made renovations possible for a new Science lab. The Shousha family was recognized at Mass.
The Knights of Columbus were also on hand for the day's festivities.
