School Facts 

St. Mary's began in 1944 with 123 students in grades 1-6 in 4 classrooms. 65 years later we have approximately 530 students in grades K-8 in 18 classrooms. St. Mary-Basha is the oldest private school in Chandler, Arizona.

The school year consists of three 12-week trimesters.  The school day runs from 8:00am to 3:00pm (grades K-3) / 3:15pm (grades 4-8). 

In 1994, St. Mary-Basha Catholic School was selected to receive the prestigious “Blue Ribbon School” Award by the U.S. Department of Education.  The school is also accredited by the North Central Association Commission on Accredidation and School Improvement.
