Amy Thompson

Mrs. Thompson LOVES working at SMB because she gets to freely integrate the God-given gifts of each student with how those gifts can be used to glorify Him. She is blessed to have been teaching at SMB since 2006.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Education, with an emphasis in Fitness and Wellness, from Northern Arizona University in 1992. Mrs. Thompson and husband were married the following year and have 3 children, all of whom attended and graduated from SMB.

Her hobbies are running (She's run 4 marathons and countless ½ marathons), gardening, hiking and camping. She loves all things sports and outdoors.

Her goal is for students to appreciate the importance of being healthy while learning a variety of activities and focusing on the value of positive behaviors and relationships.
