Susan Debons
3rd Grade Teacher
Mrs. Debons is a California native, born and raised in the Bay Area near San Jose. She earned her B.A. in English from San Jose State and her post- baccalaureate in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix. She also earned her endorsement in Structured English Immersion. She has taught 3rd grade in the Diocese since 2003. After taking 5 years off to raise her daughter, she is excited to return to teach 3rd grade at St. Mary-Basha!
When outside of the classroom, Mrs. Debons has an online bakery business that puts her talents to use and keeps her busy. When she isn’t in the kitchen, she is hiking, exercising, traveling, or spending quality time with her friends and family. She has an amazing and supportive husband of 16 years, and a beautiful daughter who attends SMB. Mrs. Debons is excited to join the SMB family!
