Mrs. Salce has a professional background that spans two decades in the field of education, encompassing 15 years of hands-on classroom teaching and a subsequent 5 years as a K-12 instructional specialist within a comprehensive school district. During the latter part of her career, she concentrated on providing training to educators on effective instructional techniques rooted in an understanding of how the brain learns. She has a passion for the neuroscience of learning, especially in ways to differentiate educational approaches to accommodate students with diverse learning styles, such as those with ADHD or gifted abilities, to name a few.

Mrs. Salce earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English: Rhetoric and Composition from the University of Arizona and a Master’s Degree in Education: Curriculum and Instruction from Ottawa University. She is also a National Board Certified Teacher.

Mrs. Salce enjoys spending most of her time with her husband, two kids, and dog. You can often find them playing board games, watching movies, or hanging out in the kitchen, their favorite place.  Outside of her time with family and SMB, you may often find her immersed in a cozy nook with a steaming cup of coffee, soft yarn, and a crochet hook, stitching away her stress.  She also enjoys enriching her Catholic faith and developing her parenting skills through books, podcasts, and apps.
