SCHOOL ADVISORY
Monday, March 8th will be the School Advisory Council Meeting. The Agenda is in the WCE today.
OPEN HOUSE
We will be holding an Open House on Sunday, March 14th from 10:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m. for prospective new families. If you know of a family interested in Catholic Education and has NOT registered for the 2010-2011 school year, let them know about the Open House. We have openings in Grades K, 1, 4, 6, and 8.
CTODP - TAKE THE CREDIT!
Time to do taxes!! Remember, CTODP, Arizona Tax Credit, gives you the opportunity to re-direct your tax dollars to Catholic Education. Refer to line 21 on the Arizona State Tax Form as to what your liability is!! You could have redirected that to CTODP #176 and gotten a dollar for dollar credit against your tax liability.
CTODP SCHOLARSHIPS
Have you started to do your taxes??? Remember, the deadline for applying for a scholarship from CTODP will be April 15th. Anyone who misses the deadline will not be eligible for a scholarship from CTODP. File your taxes so you will be ready when the Tuition Packet comes home on March 17th.
CASH DRAWING
Only 27 days away from the CASH DRAWING! For $25 you will receive a chance at $10,000. Return your Cash Drawing Tickets by March 31st to be eligible for the Drawing on April 1st. What a great Easter present!!
EUCHARISTIC CONGRESS
This week St. Mary's Parish is having a Eucharistic Congress. Each day there will be a different event to bring us closer to the Eucharist.
Thursday, March 4th - Grades 5-8 will be attending the 8:15 a.m. Mass
Thursday, March 4th - Grades K-4 will be attending a special Storytelling time 2:00-2:45 p.m. Michael John Poirier will be leading.
Thursday, March 4th - 7:00 p.m. Bishop Olmsted will be here to celebrate Mass.
There will be 24 hours of Reconciliation from 4:00 p.m. today and end at 4:00 p.m. on Friday
There will be a special Eucharistic Miracles Exhibit on display in Hurtado Hall during the Eucharistic Congress. Volunteers are needed. Call Carmen Antram at (480) 899-9187 for details on how to volunteer. PALS hours can be earned.
RICE BOWL
Continue being generous in your Rice Bowl for "Partners for Progress" PIP. The Sisters of Charity have been assisting PIP for a number of years with a Makaya Water Project and the Novitiate for the Sisters of St. Antoine in Fondwa. The novitiate was destroyed in the earthquake and one of the novices died. For more information on the organization and what they are doing for the people of Fondwa in Haiti go to www.piphaiti.org. Used Uniform Sale A used uniform sale will be held tomorrow, Thursday, March 4th from 2:30 - 3:45 p.m. in the North Parking Lot.
