2009-2010 School Supply Lists School begins Wed, Aug 12.
Please view the National History Day Award-Winning Website here. A St. Mary-Basha school family wil be traveling to Our Lady of Fatima in July and has offered to take intentions and prayers with them. Please use a 3x5 index card - address the outside envelope to "Our Lady of Fatima," and drop if off in the SCHOOL office between the hours of 9am and 11am, Monday through Thursday. Last day for drop-off is Wednesday, June 24th. We thank our school family for this wonderful offer.
The Math League has Math Contests for Grades 4-8, Algebra I and High School students. Over one million students from the United States and Canada participate in Math League Contests each year. Our region consists of schools from Arizona and 19 other states. This year's 8th grade team score, consisting of the top 5 student scores, placed St. Mary-Basha 30th in the region and 4th in Arizona. American Math Competition is designed to promote the development and enhancement of problem-solving skills. All USA, USA Embassy, Canadian and foreign school students in Grade 8 or below are eligible to participate. This year's team score, consisting of the top 3 students, earned School Merit Honor Roll, placing St. Mary-Basha in the 2-5% of all schools and in the top 15 schools in Arizona. |
