Ahna Denney
5th Grade Teacher
Born in McMinnville, Oregon, Mrs. Denney has been teaching Elementary School since 2011. She graduated from the University of Portland in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education, along with a Voice Music Minor. She earned her Special Education Endorsement in 2016. Teaching is Mrs. Denney's passion and she looks forward to continuing to teach here in Arizona.
Moving to Arizona from Oregon in 2022, with her husband and two children, Mrs. Denney is basking in the Arizona sun while she gardens, hikes, finds water and anything and all things outdoors while sipping an iced tea or iced chai tea latte.
Having prayed for an opportunity to teach at the Catholic school her children attend since before the kids were born, Mrs. Denney teaching at SMB, where both of her children will attend is an answered prayer from God. He always remembers and Ahna is humbled and thrilled for this next chapter at St. Mary Basha Catholic School.
